Choosing Home Theater Setup

Home theater are divided into two category, home theater in a box and dedicated home theater.

HOME THEATER IN A BOX
Why this is called home theater in a box just because everything comes in just one box, from main unit, front speaker, center speaker, surround speaker and sub-woofer. There are two sizes of front speaker which is tall type need to be standing and smaller one call satellite which need to be mounted to wall. The main unit is built in with DVD/Blu Ray player. The main unit also has built in power amp to run the speakers and sub-woofer. All speakers will be directly connected to main unit via speaker cables that bundle with it.

Availability
This home theater widely use by consumers. It's easy to purchase from fame store such Court Mammoth, Seng Heng, SenQ, Harvey Norman u name it.

Installation
Installation is quite simple, just place the main unit under the display, place all speakers onto right location. For front speaker, put the right and left speaker on each side of display and connect the cable from speaker to main unit with labeled FL for front left and FR for front right.

Sub woofer should be place in between front speaker and display near the corner. Connect the cable from sub woofer to main unit with labeled SW.

Center speaker should be place under display and connect the cable to speaker port labeled CS.

Surround speaker should be place behind or beside your listening position and connect the speaker cables to speaker port labeled SR for surround right and SL for surround left.

Hook your main unit via bundled HDMI cable to you HDMI port on your display and enjoy.
